User has been incorrectly or insufficiently warned. Re-report if the user resumes vandalising after being warned sufficiently. No warnings since December, current edit appears unrelated to the previous ones, so likely different user assigned to that IP address. --Ahecht (TALK

Current requests for increase in protection level
[edit]Place requests for new or upgrading of article protection, upload protection, or create protection at the BOTTOM of this section. Check the archive of fulfilled and denied requests or, failing that, the page history if you cannot find your request. Only recently answered requests are still listed here.
Reason: The GA status of this article about one of the UK's most notable schools has been nullified by persistent additions of unsourced trivia and PoV and general interference over the years by IP editors. School articles attract a lot of nonsense. There is a project to restore this article to GA but it firstneeds first to be long-term protected. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 21:26, 19 February 2025 (UTC)
Semi-protected for a period of three months, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. Daniel Case (talk) 21:30, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
Temporary semi-protection: Over the past couple of days, I've edit warred back-and-forth with an IP over the fact that Griffin Peebles participated in the Abu Dhabi round instead of Dan Skocdopole. The IP has continued to revert my edits, even after listing multiple proofs on the article's talk page. I would like to request a temporary semi-protected page status, or a protection for pending changes. For more details and context, please check this discussion at the ANI here. Current requests for reduction in protection level
[edit]Before posting, first discuss with the protecting admin on their talk page. Post below only if you receive no reply.
- To find out the username of the admin who protected the page, click on "history" at the top of the page, then click on "View logs for this page," which is under the title of the page. The protecting admin is the username in blue before the words "protected", "changed protection level" or "pending changes". If there are a number of entries on the log page, you might find it easier to select "Protection log" or "Pending changes log" from the dropdown menu in the blue box.
- Requests to downgrade full protection to template protection on templates and modules can be directed straight here; you do not need to ask the protecting admin first.
- Requests for removing create protection on redlinked articles are generally assisted by having a draft version of the intended article prepared beforehand.
- If you want to make spelling corrections or add uncontroversial information to a protected page, please add {{Edit fully-protected}} to the article's talk page, along with an explanation of what you want to add to the page. If the talk page is protected, please use the section below.
Check the archives if you cannot find your request. Only recently answered requests are still listed here.
Reason: The protection is no longer necessary because it hasn’t been vandalized recently. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.83.200.39 (talk) 17:49, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
Not unprotected – The article is not protected due to vandalism, but because of excessive addition of unsourced/inadequately sourced content. Anyhow, the current absence of disruption is likely a consequence of the protection. The history of the article as well as your own recent track record speak against unprotecting the article. Favonian (talk) 18:17, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
Current requests for edits to a protected page
[edit]Please request an edit directly on the protected page's talk page before posting here
Ideally, requests should be made on the article talk page rather than here.
- Unless the talk page itself is protected, you may instead add the appropriate template among
{{Edit protected}}
,{{Edit template-protected}}
,{{Edit extended-protected}}
, or{{Edit semi-protected}}
to the article's talk page if you would like to make a change rather than requesting it here. Doing so will automatically place the page in the appropriate category for the request to be reviewed. - Where requests are made due to the editor having a conflict of interest (COI; see Wikipedia:Suggestions for COI compliance), the
{{Edit COI}}
template should be used. - Requests to move move-protected pages should be made at Wikipedia:Requested moves, not here.
- If the discussion page and the article are both protected preventing you from making an edit request, this page is the right place to make that request. Please see the top of this page for instructions on how to post requests.
- This page is not for continuing or starting discussions regarding content should both an article and its discussion page be protected. Please make a request only if you have a specific edit you wish to make.
I would like to request if my son's page could be restored. I just learned that since his passing in 2018 that the page he created prior to is no longer found. I am his father and would like to update it and protect it for all time. Please let me know if you are able to assist or where I should look for such.

Autopatrolled[edit]
Hello, I have created 75+ articles, since I got autopatrolled mostly focusing on television series. For transparency, I'm still working on the feedback received from @Schwede66 in my last request. And I intent to keep doing the good work. Thanks for your consideration. Wishing the community a prosperous new year. C1K98V (💬 ✒️ 📂) 06:56, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
Concise, well-written and sufficiently articles, mostly with a royal or Church of England focus. I looked at an articles of theirs as part of NPP, and found it to be up to standard without editing. Others look reasonable too. Klbrain (talk) 12:15, 18 January 2025 (UTC)
It is my 8th year of editing (4th with this account). I have written a number of articles of various types and none have been permanently deleted. I have made mistakes, but understand what they were and how to avoid them. About to publish many geography stubs (manually written, differing in content, not violating MASSCREATE - see Ledenice and Zapeć for examples). Articles like Cirsium greimleri, First Vrbnik Breviary, Petər Klepəc and Veternica are more representative of my work, though. Ivan (talk) 17:48, 27 January 2025 (UTC)
91 main space articles, 45 rated above stub, no deletions. I mostly create articles for albums or BLPs of musicians. GanzKnusper (talk) 09:26, 3 February 2025 (UTC)
I know my first articles are... bad, but my recent pages, Yumeshima Station, Meitetsu KiHa 10 series, Meitetsu 3400 series, and Resignation services should be good without being patrolled. ABG (Talk/Report any mistakes here) 03:11, 10 February 2025 (UTC)

I would like to use AWB for repetitive editing tasks. I do these a lot for the projects I am a part of, and they have become very tedious. Edit: one of the projects I am a part of for a Church, does not have very many active contributors but a very large backlog. Requests for new page reviewer |

New page reviewer[edit]
Reason for requesting new page reviewer rights I have authored a few articles, improved the quality of many articles including adding high quality references and improving encyclopedic quality. I have also limited experiences in deletion. I also have just been granted AFC reviewer options and starting to increase my participation in that. Welcome feedback if I can qualify. Thanks for the consideration Trex32 (talk) 00:19, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
Though I predominantly work with redirects, at least recently, I also engage with new pages and would like to help further in the new pages patrol in reviewing for quality and to help with the backlog. Hello again, I was granted NPR for the January backlog drive, and reviewed 48.4 in total. I was planning to do a lot more, but I quickly learnt it's best to stick with subjects I'm familiar with, mainly English football, so didn't end up doing much beyond that. Anyway, I'd like to continue reviewing. I doubt I'll be a prolific reviewer, but otherwise happy to handle what I come across, and participate in future backlog drives as required. I only had a couple of re-reviews, so I welcome any admin to check over other reviews I've made. Thanks. CNC (talk) 18:26, 20 February 2025 (UTC)

Pending changes reviewer[edit]
I'd like to request pending changes review rights because I am familiar with the policy and this would help me with my vandalism patrols. Furthermore, I am currently trying to accept a request, but I do not have the permissions. Thanks! Ali Beary (talk2me!) (stalk me?!) 13:29, 10 January 2025 (UTC)
I have been an active contributor to Wikipedia and focused on editing articles, reviewing new pages & combating vandalism. I am requesting for PCR right to speeding up the review process for pending changes. I am familiar with key Wikipedia content policies, including vandalism, biographies of living persons (BLP), neutral point of view (NPOV), verifiability, and copyright compliance. I've also been involved in patrolling recent changes, where I use Twinkle tool to revert vandalism. With my experience and understanding of these policies, I believe that I can effectively contribute to reviewing pending changes. 𝐌P⚚𝛂n 𓃠 {✝alk} 20:05, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
I'm well familiar with Wikipedia policies. And in my spare time I am always on duty to combat any vandalism or violation of Wikipedia policies. This right will serve me well. Thanks! Vellutis (talk) 18:48, 16 February 2025 (UTC)

I patrol recent changes, mainly for vandalism, but I also get in contact with a lot of pending changes and like to help. I am familiar with the related policies. Squawk7700 (talk) 18:06, 18 February 2025 (UTC)
I am requesting reviewer rights to help improve the quality and accuracy of Wikipedia articles, particularly in areas related to Pakistan and some notable international articles like television shows and international cricket. I also created a page Kana Yaari directly, which is a result of my performances on Wikipedia. I have gained experience through consistent and constructive editing, and I am familiar with Wikipedia's content policies, including neutral point of view, verifiability, and reliable sourcing. I aim to assist in maintaining the integrity of semi-protected pages and contribute to the efficient review of pending changes. Currently I'm a auto confirmed user rights. "Do you want to take a survey?"
[edit]On Feb. 12, 2005, I did a random pages survey. Out of 100 random pages, only 1 was a U.S. town. That's progress. Three towns in the UK, 1 in Spain and 1 in Portugal also turned up. Overall biographies were the largest category at 22%, followed by geography with 15% total. Then Lists at 7%, Disambiguation pages at 6%.
On Feb. 24, 2006, I repeated the 100 random page survey, this time getting 5 U.S. towns. Overall, geography had 26%, biography 21%, fiction 9%, music 4%, colleges 4%, lists 3% and disambigs 4%. Clearly geography and biography are our largest areas. Music, science and business scored less than I expected. Non-individual History was hardly discernable.
Even by Feb. 2005, 100 out of almost 500,000 was not statistically significant but was as much as I had patience for.
